Walk-in Bride and Groom

There is always something unexpected happening at Carter’s!

Today a bride and groom visited our shop in search of a bridal bouquet. They are getting married tonight on St. Pete Beach. I took them in the cooler and the bride picked out a handful of flowers that she wanted transformed into a bridal bouquet. While Rob was designing the bouquet the happy couple went down the street for an award winning Chattaburger.

Poinsettia Care

The yearly debate is here! How to care for your poinsettia plant.

Placement: Poinsettias like indirect sunlight for at least six hours per day. They do not like to be placed in direct sunlight or near cold drafts or excessive heat. Ideal temperates are between 55-70 degrees.

Watering: Water your poinsettia when the soil feels dry to the touch. Don’t overwater or allow it to sit in standing water. Always remove a plant from any decorative container before watering and allow the water to drain completely.
